Correction to: Efficient electrochemical oxidation of reactive dye using a novel Ti/nanoZnO–CuO anode: electrode characterization, modeling, and operational parameters optimization

In the current study, electrochemical removal of reactive orange 7 (RO7) dye in aqueous solution was examined over a novel Ti/nanoZnO–CuO electrode prepared through electrophoretic deposition technique. Surface morphology, crystal structure, and elemental investigation were done by Field emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray energy dispersive spectrometry, diffraction analysis, which confirmed presence CuO nanoparticles along with ZnO uniform coated layer. Besides, some properties evaluated applying linear sweep voltammetry, cyclic impedance spectroscopy analysis. Based on these analyses, behaves as non-active well it possessed smaller charge-transfer resistance higher density than Ti Ti/nanoZnO electrodes. Further, chrono-amperometry chrono-potentiometry tests conducted to assess stability service lifetime. Obtained results indicated conducive enhancement conductivity properties. To evaluate performance optimize process, four independent variables pH, electrolyte concentration, current, reaction time inputs RO7 efficiency response function central composite design investigated. Under optimal conditions, chemical oxygen demand 99.16% 66.66% obtained after 60 min for electrode. According results, can be used treatment organic pollutants promising
